Hi, I’m Lacey

momma.    rest seeker.   lover of the sea

Born and raised in Newfoundland, having spent childhood summers playing in the Landwash, I’ve settled back into the island with my husband and child to make this place our home once more. A Little Cup of Sea was born from the love of the sea and that pursuit of savouring the now and the pursuit of rest.

I love this little hut! It is the perfect place to get away from the city for a little bit. The view is beautiful, the fire is warm, and the person who runs the place is so kind and quick to get you anything you need, more wood, water, etc. They really go above and beyond. It's a wonderful spot for cards and conversation with good company or for a distraction-free afternoon of work. The hut is so cozy and lovely in the winter, and I imagine it will be a blast in the summer! I can't wait to go back and paddleboard when we get some good weather.

This place is truly a gem! About an hour's drive from St. John's to a little piece of heaven! We had such a lovely relaxing morning here last weekend, enjoying the warmth of the wood stove and the sun spilling in. So many lovely touches and details in the decoration. I especially loved the books, and had a great time reading the Newfoundland books. Even as a Newfoundlander, there is always something to learn about our unique province. 😉 We will back again for sure! Thank you for the lovely spot, you really have something special here!
